Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime does come with some fairly impressive specifications.

Detailed Review of Galaxy J7 Prime.

Design:

Galaxy J7 Prime comes with an all-metal unibody design. Top and bottom end with plastic with a brushed metal finish with 2.5D curved glass on the front. It comes with a front mounted physical home button that doubles as a fingerprint scanner. The home button is flanked by touch based capacitive buttons.

The flat back panel and rounded corners make the phone easier to handle and operate. Galaxy J7 Prime comes with the non-removable back cover and Non-removable battery. On the right side, we have the power button and small speaker, while on the left side, volume buttons. It comes with two Sim slot and micro SD card slot.

Display:

Galaxy J7 Prime comes with 5.5 inches Full HD LCD display. There is no option to set manually correct the saturation, but the phone does give you an Outdoor Mode option to manually up the phone’s brightness levels for when you’re out in direct sunlight.

Samsung is not using an AMOLED panel here, which means, colors don’t necessarily end up popping out from all corners but then, on the positive side, the J7 Prime ships with a more neutral color palette which is soothing to the eyes.

Performance and Software:

Galaxy J7 Prime is powered by an octa-core  1.6 GHz with 3GB RAM. Internal storage with 16GB which can be expanded through micro SD card up to 256 GB.

Galaxy J7 Prime runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based Touch Wiz UI. Samsung is banking on two feature: S Power Planning and S Secure. The S Power Planning is for battery saving feature. It also allows the user to extend phone battery. The S secure feature on other hand allows the user to lock and hide their applications, secure Wi-Fi thereby encrypting all data which is being transferred and create a separate folder for images and applications.

Camera:

Galaxy J7 Prime Rear camera is of 13 MP with LED flash. Front camera with 8 MP also with LED flash. The rear camera performs well in varied situations. Selfies from the front camera are good in low light conditions also. Selfies clicked in low light have lots of noise and substantial loss in detail.

Battery Life:

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime comes with non-removable 3300mAh battery. It’s worth mentioning that on selecting the Extend Battery Time option, users will be left with limited phone functionality as it kills a lot of features.
