Detailed Review of Galaxy On5 Pro:

Design and Build:

The device looks dated in terms of the design and the build quality also looks average. No change in design it looks similar to On5 which was released in 2016. The power button is located on the right side while the volume keys are on the left panel. The audio jack and micro USB charging slot are located at the bottom. The front panel houses the 5-inch display, three buttons with the physical home button.

On the rear panel there is rear camera with flash, speaker. It comes in Gold and Black color. Design and build quality is average at this price range.

Display:

The phone comes with 5-inch display with LCD panel. The touch response is quite decent. The On5 Pro also misses out on ambient light sensor and it comes with an outdoor mode.

Software:

Samsung Galaxy On5 Pro runs on Android 6.0.1 which is the latest version of Lollipop. The phone comes with an app drawer and Samsung has not bundled any bloatware with the phone and hence you don’t have unnecessary apps taking up space or running in the background. The phone also comes with ultra-data saving mode and ultra-battery saver mode which are quite handy.

Performance:

On5 Pro runs on Exynos Quad core processor with 2GB RAM. The heat generated while playing games was considerably low. The phone comes with 16 GB internal storage; you can expand the storage with the help of micro SD card. Fingerprint scanner is missing from On5 Pro which is mostly seen in every phone now days.

Camera:

On5 Pro comes with 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. The camera interface is exactly the same as that of J series and comes with auto mode, pro mode, panorama, continuous shot and beauty shot.

Battery Life:

Samsung Galaxy On5 Pro features a 2600mAh battery and this is good capacity for a 5-inch device in the mid-range segment. If you are an average user, then you can easily get a day or more with the battery on this device.
