Huawei has steadily been releasing devices in India under its sub-brand Honor. Honor 8 Pro will take the position of Honor 8 in terms of money and specs. The Honor 8 Pro supports a dual camera and is priced to go up against competing with One Plus 5.

Honor 8 Pro Design:

Honor 8 Pro design is a little different with a comparison of Honor 8. Honor 8 was having a glossy glass back and Honor 8 Pro is having metal unibody. Honor 8 Pro is quite sleek and has curved sides. Honor 8 Pro has managed to have 4000 mAh battery.

Honor 8 Pro is having 5.7 Inch AMOLED display panel. Honor Logo below the screen. On the top, you will see a selfie camera with 8 MP and sensor. The power and volume buttons are given on right side. On left side of Honor 8 Pro, there is only SIM slot. At the bottom, there is USB type C port and 3.5 mm jack with a microphone. At the top secondary microphone and IR remitter to control household appliances.

Dual cameras are placed on the back at the upper left corner of the phone, with dual LED flash. Both cameras are covered with the glass window to protect the lenses from scratch.

The Honor 8 Pro is a stylish device with a dependable chassis and stands out in the sea of similar looking smartphones in the market.

The best thing of Honor 8 Pro is It is having a Rear dual camera with 12 MP. These two cameras are used as independent RGB and monochrome sensor. The monochrome sensor can absorb more light, as a result, it gives a better result. You can set it to monochrome mode to get black and white images. When you use camera phone will get warm and when you play games you will feel it’s not warming but it runs cool.

The Honor 8 pro records video at 4K but sometimes its ability to continuous autofocus is lost at resolution.

Honor 8 Pro Performance:

Honor 8 Pro is running on a new version which is EMUI 5.1. Android version is 7.1 Nougat. Honor 8 Pro is not getting load while loading apps and games. Even when you switch between apps, the device retains them in memory, reducing reload times. Fingerprint scanner gestures help you to pull down the notification shades and you can dismiss all the notification as well. There are few apps which are preloaded from honor, but you uninstall later from the board. You will also found a Screen Power Saving option, which claims to lower the resolution of the display to conserve power. There’s a voice control feature built in which response to the phrase ‘Dear Honor’. In case you can’t find your phone, you can loudly ask the device where it is and it will respond by playing a loud tone and triggering the flashlight. Coming to customizations, there are plenty. One can download themes, wallpapers, ringtones, fonts and more from the theme store which is filled to the brim with plenty of selections.
